Hi my sparkly little friends! Remember me? Yes me! Duffymoon!

I thought that if I didn’t post on the first day of Spring, who knows when I would actually post!

When I started this blog, I wasn’t sure where Hello Duffymoon would take me, what it would become or what I would write about …but what I did know for sure is that I had a vision for my brand; Hello Duffymoon and I wanted that vision to become a reality. I wanted to stop talking about doing things and actually do them.

I am a trained chef in the real world and a magical thinking unicorn onesie wearing, glitter throwing creative mermaid in my brain-world and I just needed to find a way to just live that and own it and not try and be something that I am not. That included not writing about things that I am not passionate about, not doing things that didn’t gel with my own personal ethos and pretty much not following through with my dreams.

Over the past few months Hello Duffymoon as a real world cake making brand has gone from strength to strength. The amount of support I have received has been overwhelming and instead of drawing inspiration from the internet to use in my everyday life, I am beginning to draw inspiration from my every day life for my little corner of the internet. Isn’t that just amazing? Things have come alive in a way that I only wished/hoped/dreamed. So essentially I would like my website, my blog and my real life to culminate into one magical place. At the moment I feel like I am trying to live a double life, ya know? Do you blog readers even know what I do day-to-day?

I am hoping to make some big improvements on my website in the next few months to align it more with what I want Hello Duffymoon to be. More glitter, more unicorns, more confetti, more cake for goodness sakes! In the future you can expect more cake pictures, more life stories, more about me and just a lot of really beautiful things. When the time is right and the designing, creating and fixing parts are over, you can also expect an online shop with a small and carefully curated and created selection of goodies. Here’s to hoping it is before Christmas, but I won’t be making any promises!
